Just a Little Harmless Sex: After a spouse throws her hushand out of the home (because he picked up a hooker one day) their matrimony is put in emergency mode. She hails her lady friends together for guidance, and he does the identical with the gentlemen. Then they all unite at a local club. This film is a somewhat amusing, low cost romantic comedy with an extremely desirable cast. Cast includes Alison Eastwood, Lauren Hutton, Kimberly Williams, Jonathan Silverman, Jessica Lundy, Rachel Hunter, and William Ragsdale. (98 minutes, 1999)

Cry Freedom: An empathetic film in dealing with the life of South African activist Steve Biko (well played by Washington) and his kinship with crusading newspaper editor Donald Woods (Kline). Regrettably second half of film, minus the Biko personality, loses itself as it invests too much time on Kline and his families flee from South Africa. Cast includes Kevin Kline, Penelope Wilton, Denzel Washington, Kevin McNally, John Defrost, Timothy West, Juanita Waterman, John Hargreaves, Alec McCowen, Zakes Mokae, and Ian Richardson. (157 minutes, 1987)

Hold Back Tomorrow: This is another of Haas’ oddball cheaply made dramas. This one is about a condemned killer who weds a gal on the day before he is put to death. Cast includes Cleo Moore, John Agar, Frank de Kova, Harry Guardino, and Jan Englund. (75 minutes, 1955)

The Inkwell: A sixteen-year-old, whose toy doll confidante naturally frets his parents, comprehends in regards to love, in this summer of ‘76 reminiscence piece set in a black zone of Martha’s Vineyard. Cast includes Larenz Tate, Joe Morton, Suzzanne Douglas, Glynn Turman, Vanessa Bell Calloway, Adrienne-Joi Johnson, Morris Chestnut, Jada Pinkett, Duane Matlin, Mary Alice, and Phyllis Yvonne Stickney. (110 minutes, 1994)

Danny Boy: Ambitious although arrogant, unrelentingly dull melodrama of sax player Rea, who trades his sax for a gun after observing a triple killing. Foxtrot: O’Toole and his spouse escape Rumania in the late 1930s and shelter on an island heaven to hide from a planet getting ready to explode into battle. The Agronomist: Commanding, abrasive documentary picture of an intriguing individual, Jean Dominique, a leading Haitian figure and significant player in the nation’s battle for human being rights. The film offers observations into the affairs of state and history of Haiti in recent years. The focus of the movie is to give us a lucid image of one guy’s tough determination and large seated hyman rights beliefs, and his enthusiastic love for his country. The finale is shattering. (91 minutes, 2004)

Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore: The moive tells the story of a lady’s odyssey to find out who she is and some measure of cheerfulness after her spouse dies, leaving her and a youthful child penniless. Cast includes Ellen Burstyn, Kris Kristofferson, Billy Green Bush, Alfred Lutter, Diane Ladd, Jodie Foster, Harvey Keitel, Vic Tayback, and Valerie Curtin. (113 minutes, 1974)
