What you need to know To Be A Clairvoyant?
The paranormal term of clairvoyance originated in French language. The French word clair means clear, voyance means vision and voyant the word for visionary. Clairvoyance therefore means clear vision. An individual who is clairvoyant has is a clear visionary. The term, unfortunately, is only a literal translation that is not accurate nor helpful.
The definition of the term clairvoyant has been further complicated over the years because it has been used over the years to refer to many different things. The term gradually emerged when referring to a person that displays a range of paranormal or psychic abilities. The one definition that is all-encompassing describes a clairvoyant as an individual that possesses the ability to know things about a person, location, object or event without using any of the five senses. Clairvoyance is the use of a form of extra-sensory perception or ESP.
For the most part, a clairvoyant only perceive extrasensory knowledge about current events. However, there have been clairvoyants who have received information about the past or the future. These cases fall more into the category of precognition or post-cognition, however.
The means by which a clairvoyant learns this information varies, but as a general rule can be broken down into one of six forms or types. It is clairvoyance that is most associated with this first type or form, the remote viewing phenomenon. The clairvoyant, in remote viewing, sees an object, location, event or person hidden from them. Sometimes this is in the form of visual hallucination, other times the clairvoyant viewing something using their minds eye.
Clairaudience refers to the clairvoyant receiving knowledge in the form of sound. They will hear sounds and voices which only they (and only they) can hear.
The next kind of clairvoyance is known as clairsentience. With clairsentience the individual is able to gain knowledge of remote events through touch and feeling. There are cases that have taken the form of feeling and actual object that is not really there. In other instances it is more of a feeling or a vibe that is felt from locations, events, and people that are remote.
Clairalience is an extrasensory ability to perceive smells. A clairvoyant will smell the scents of another place (for instance, grass and flowers in a field). These scents cannot be smelled by anyone else and come from no apparent source.
The next type of clairvoyance is clairgustance. With this type of clairvoyance, a person that has an empty mouth is able to distinctly taste different flavors even though there is no evident source. They may also be able to accurately describe the taste different things from a distance.
Claircognizance has no analogue among the physical senses. It is the phenomena of a clairvoyant ‘just knowing’ something with no sensory explanation. Its difficult to explain in any more detail than this.
Clairvoyance is something which is known in every part of the world and has a place in every single one of the worlds cultures. The phenomena also figures into most of the worlds major religions. In the Buddhist tradition, clairvoyance (specifically in the form of clairsentience) is thought of as one of the six types of extrasensory abilities which are granted to people through advanced study of meditation. Buddhists believe that these people are able to perceive the vibrations given off by other people.
Clairvoyance is part of the religious traditions of Judaism, Christianity and Islam as well. In the Abrahamic religions clairvoyance is believed to be a miraculous experience granted to the clairvoyant by divine intervention. In Catholic tradition, St. Clare is believed to have had a vision of the death of St. Francis of Assisi, even though she was many miles removed from the event. In honor of this vision, the Catholic Church named St. Clare the patron saint of television. Its a fitting assignment; after all, the word television literally means to see at a distance.
Clairvoyance in Catholicism, for instance, has been considered miraculous. More than five hundred years ago, a disciple of Saint Francis, Saint Claire, had a vision of the death of Saint Francis despite that Saint Claire was miles away when she had the vision. Saint Claire, interestingly enough, was sainted the ‘patron saint of television.’ Televisions literal meaning is ’seeing over a distance.’
None of these skeptics have yet to prove that clairvoyance does not exist. At the same time, the evidence which supports its existence continues to pile up and the public as a whole is starting to adopt a more accepting attitude towards the possibility of clairvoyance.
How clairvoyance works is not yet understood, but this shouldnt be taken as a reason to ignore the existence of this phenomenon. There are a growing number of people who believe that any one of us can learn to use clairvoyance and other latent psychic abilities with practice and dedication.
Just because we don’t understand how it works, there is no reason to deny its existence. It has been suggested that in the distant past, all humans used to be clairvoyant but for some reason lost their powers. It is thought that everybody could again become clairvoyant if they make the effort and choose to develop these powers.
